This dress is very flattering for a fuller, hourglass figure. It was fitted at the top, and then loose to graze over lower belly bulge. I’m shorter but loved the length. After reading other reviews I saw to size up, which I did. I definitely needed the extra size in the sleeve. My regular size would have fit, but the lace sleeve looks better a little loose in my opinion (not like a sausage). Upsizing a size worked for me, as it will be worn in warm weather so it’s very breathable. I plan to add a wide ribbon/sash/belt, which will make it even more flattering.

I am 5 ft 7 in, weigh 160 lbs. I ordered a large and the top and sleeves are a perfect fit. The waist and hips are not tight, which I am so glad with.

Its a really cute dress. With nice high heels its very versatile. If you want to keep it more casual just sandals, red lips and GO.

I absolutely love this dress! I purchased it for an evening event; normally I only wear t-shirt dresses, but needed something a bit dressier. It really looked so cute on. It was incredibly comfortable, nice and loose, but the shorter length kept it from looking frumpy. It was still long enough that I didn’t have to worry about moving around, though. I sized up from my normal Large top size to XL, but probably would have been fine with the Large dress, as well. It hangs nicely, has a nice weight, and is surprisingly warm. Love the crocheted arms, beautiful. For the black dress, I did not have to wear a slip underneath, as it is not see through at all.

This dress is beautiful. For a flattering fit, go up one size. The dress will let the dress hang better and you will be more comfortable. This is the party dress for you.

Unfortunately I had several funerals to attend within a two week period and ran out of options for black dresses. This dress was perfect because you could wear it to a funeral or even a wedding and it would be very appropriate and understated. I washed my dress in a lingerie bag to insure that the lace on the sleeves were protected.

I find this style to be very flattering. It is thin material so you can wear it in the summer. You can also wear it in spring or early fall. I have 3 of these dresses already. I’ve worn one to an outdoor wedding and received many compliments.
